I recently gave in and joined Facebook. Worse than that I've started participating in all sorts of time-wasting games on the site, including one where you compare your friends to each other. Who is smarter, this one or this one? Who would you rather have dinner with, this one or this one?

I recently got the following match-up:

Frankly, I couldn't decide. I think of them as both being pretty confident (although, like many improvisers, probably not as confident as you'd guess).

Going purely by the picture, Megan has given up the majority of her profile picture to Alex (in fact, until I read the captions, I thought it was asking me to compare Alex and Steve). Doesn't that suggest a lack of confidence? But Steve looks stricken and envious in his profile picture, as if looking over at Alex and Megan, thinking, "Why are they so much better than I am?"

Ultimately, I couldn't decide. I clicked "Skip" and moved on to a different pairing.

Maybe you can help, though. Weigh in on who you think is more confident in the Comments.

      Greetings fellow star gazers!

If you are a WNT groupie, you will have noticed that one of your favorite WNT performers is appearing in a Comcast commercial airing right now in Chicago!

. . . No, not Steve, one of your other favorites.

. . . It's not Marla . . . or John . . . Scott? Scott! Are you fu . . .!?

No, it's actually me! Just like Wil Smith, I am just famous enough now to move to Bel Air to live with my super rich and uptight relatives and inevitably infuse their lives with my patented brand of streetwise wackiness such culture clashes are known for the world over.

People keep telling me they saw the commercial during Grey's Anatomy or the Colts/Pats game or Fox News or whatever. So, it’s playing a lot. You can also see my Faultless Starch commercial that will be airing in the Southeast online at www.faultless.com. And to paraphrase the great Jack Horkheimer . . . "Keep looking up and to your Tivo'ed commercials and slow down when you see Matt on an el train!"

Matt Young
